Welcome
Hi, I’m the creator of this site KIRABOSHI Japanese Class — With love and care, I created this course for everyone dreaming of learning Japanese.
Let’s open new doors and step into a new world, hand in hand.
The Power of a Simple Explanation

I studied French at university and earned a pâtisserie diploma from Le Cordon Bleu. While working a full-time job, I began teaching baking as a side project. Later, I enrolled in an accounting school to start my own baking business—but I couldn’t understand a word by the second day. In a panic, I bought the simplest, most illustrated accounting book I could find.
While the school textbook was filled with jargon and dense explanations, the book I chose used cute illustrations and plain language—and suddenly, everything made sense. With just one month of study, I passed a bookkeeping exam that typically requires over 300 hours of study — with a perfect score. That experience taught me something important:
Learning isn’t just for the “smart”—you just need the right approach.
Never Too Late to Learn

Years later, I became busy raising my child and decided to close my side business. But as life gradually settled down, I felt the urge to start something new — so I began studying English.
As a single mom with a full-time job, I had little time. I squeezed in study moments wherever I could — early mornings, lunch breaks, during commutes, and late at night after my daughter went to sleep. Some days, I even fell asleep with a textbook in hand. But I never gave up.
I wasn’t especially gifted or disciplined, but by applying techniques from brain science and staying consistent, I slowly made progress. In my 40s, I achieved my goal and scored 925 on the TOEIC — a test widely used in Japan to assess English skills. I still struggle with fast-paced dramas or casual slang, but it was proof that steady effort really pays off.
A New Chapter: Life Abroad

After reaching that milestone, I made a bold decision — I quit my job, sold almost everything we owned, and set off with my daughter.
Just the two of us, two suitcases, and a dream.
We now spend most of the year living in different countries, learning through new experiences each day. Along the way, we’ve met people from all over the world — each carrying their own dreams, stories, and challenges.
One day, while buying a laptop for my daughter, I met a store clerk from Nepal. When he found out I was Japanese, he quietly said:
“I had always dreamed of studying in Japan… but I had to give up. It was too expensive.”
His words stayed with me.
Why I Built This Site

Self-study can be lonely and confusing. There’s too much information, no clear path, and many people feel lost — or believe it’s too late to begin. Textbooks are often too hard. Classes and study abroad are expensive.
I wanted to create something different. Something warm, affordable, and easy to follow.
This site is for anyone who has felt held back — by money, age, or life itself. Because language doesn’t just connect us to others — it helps us rediscover who we are.
To All Japanese Learners
Japanese is not easy — and that’s exactly why your choice to learn it is so amazing. I admire your curiosity and courage.
